Hey all! It’s been awhile. I know I’ve been slacking, but it’s for good reason… I promise! We are welcoming the newest member of the Wholee Healthy family in October! We had a bit of a rocky start, but just received a clean bill of health. For the time being, it’s back to a normal pregnancy!

Right now, I am at 17 weeks, and we found out we’re having another little girl. I hope that all of you are staying healthy and feeling good! If you follow me on Facebook, you may have seen this latest post below, but I just wanted to share it for those of you non-Facebookers. I’m thinking of starting up another challenge for June, but needing ideas, so if you have any, send them my way!
17 weeks! And it has been an interesting 17 weeks. Full of ups and downs, hormone crazies, and lots and lots of CHEESE!🧀 These last few months have been trying for me, but all of us have had these months before… all of us have had crazy things going on, outside circumstances getting us down, and have struggled staying healthy (mentally, physically, spiritually, socially, environmentally, and intellectually). But, you know what? That doesn’t mean we give up. Once we see the light again… Once we get that clean bill of health, once we get that good news, once the trials have abated for awhile, or once we choose to step out of the fog and overcome our circumstances, we get back on track! Whatever that may look like for each of us as individuals.

For me, it means getting to exercise again (no more limited activity)! At 17 weeks, I may not be as healthy as I was hoping, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to give up and let the last 23ish weeks of this pregnancy go. It means that I’m going to make them as healthy as possible. I’m going to start exercising again. I’m going to focus on nutrition and not let cheese control my life. 😂I’m going to connect with God each day in prayer and look for where he wants to lead me. I’m going to work on my relationships, reconnect with those I’ve lost track of in the craziness, and focus on how I can better their lives. I’m also going to keep up on my Wholee Healthy posts. And yeah… maybe keep my house a little cleaner! Will I live up to all of these goals? Sometimes. Not every day. But, having goals is important! As is having grace with yourself when you don’t live up to your own standards. This balance is crucial! But, today begins my renewed attempt to live the life I want to lead!

You may have faced similar setbacks or maybe they were wildly different. But, if you’ve been dealing with setbacks, just know that it’s never too late to choose to get back on track. Because you have a choice. There are things you can control in life and those you can’t. Letting go of those we can’t and taking hold of those we can is a vital part of living the best life you possibly can! Choose to get back on that path today… Because life is too short to live as a victim of your circumstances. Make it happen; make the changes you need to TODAY!
If you want assistance getting back on track, let me know, and we can set up a plan for you together! I’ve been working with clients to lose weight, train for races, get in shape, maintain weight, deal with stress, and offering support for whatever life throws their way. Let me know if you want another person in your corner to offer you motivation, tips, and most importantly, support as you work to lead your healthiest life possible!
