Wholee Healthy’s Exercise Challenge info is here!
A brief overview of Wholee Healthy for those who haven’t checked it out yet: Wholee Healthy is something that I’ve created based on my Health Education teaching background and life experiences. I like to look at health holistically. Holistic health encompasses not just our physical health, but our mental/emotional, social, spiritual, environmental and intellectual health as well. My goal is to help spread accurate health info and encourage healthy living. Eventually, I want to grow this into a holistic health coaching business, but for right now, I’m just creating a health-positive community! If I even help one person get their life on a healthy track, I’ll consider this a success!
I mentioned in an earlier post that I was starting an Exercise Challenge for the month of August. (click on the link for more info) This challenge will focus on the Physical Health Dimension. If you’re interested in joining me, the challenge is simple: Exercise every day for the month of August. That’s it. No specifics, no time limits. Just exercising daily! I’m starting with an exercise challenge because it’s one of the singularly most important things a person can add to their daily routine. Teachers, that are just starting school? Start exercising to combat the stressful first month and get into a good routine! And, Arizonians, hot doesn’t even describe our weather right now… So do something indoors or get out there in the morning! I did a 5 mile run at 6:00AM this morning, and it wasn’t bad!
Exercise is such an important part of a healthy lifestyle! Not only will it help your body get healthier, but it will also: (1) help your sleep quality, (2) improve your mental health/mood, (3) prevent disease, (4) lower your stress levels, (5) give you more energy throughout the day, and so, so much more!
